Tonight I finished a Cold Steel Broken skull in CTS-XHP, and a Benchmade Mini Griptilian in M4. The customer requested the Broken Skull to be done the same way as one I recently sold in the exchange, which I had modded to a slimmer blade profile, and near zero grind. He requested the Mini Grip to be flat ground, and to have a behind the edge thickness similar to a PM2 or Military, which I recall to be around .025". Here are the results:

Thank you gentlemen.

Forgive me for asking here, but what kind of turn around do you have for a project like this David? I have a condor lochnessmuk that I feel could benefit from a David Mary flat grind...

I turn my regrinds around very quickly, as they do not take me very long at the grinder. My goal is to have them ready to leave again the next business day after they arrive. I'll email you to discuss details. Thanks for asking!

Just an update.
I am the customer David Mary mentioned above and I am absolutely in love with
the way both blades came out.

The BS was reground because I could not stand the Truck Stop Logo
and I like thin grinds.

As for the BM 555. I have always been a fan of but hated the Hollow Grind because it was just too thick.
But I found a great deal on a LNIB 555 in M4 and just couldn't get into because of the grind.

Then I saw David Mary's For Sale post of his Broken Skull and it went from there.
He answered all my questions. Gave him an idea what I wanted and mailed the blades.
Turn around was quick even though he's in Canada.

Now I love both knives and the 555 is as slicey as any Spyderco
and the M4 is taking a beautiful patina.

Here it is in Cuscadi Black Linen.

Thank you David Mary David Mary .
