I was a bit bored today and after stairing at my shining Active Dute for the past week look what I did. I went and made my tattered old Glock 23 as pretty as my BAD:D

Well including disassembly and reassembly maybe 3 or 4 hours and some elbow grease. The tenifer coating glock uses doesn't stand up well to sandpaper. I started with 320 then 400 then 500 then 600. Then I took out the polish and the dremel, I polished with the dremel it probably saved me 3 hours of hand polishing.

I must say "don't try this at home" unless you don't care what happen's to the gun. I didn't since it was going to be sent to Robar for some NP3, but now I think I'll hold off a while since it turned out alot better than I expected.


I left out one ingredient "Jack Daniel's";) I doubt I'd have ever tried it without that major ingredient.;)
 
Jack and John (me being the John in question) have spend some quality time together - usually with favorable results. I must say, however, that your results with the Glock were more productive than most of mine.:(
 
I hear you regarding that 'special ingredient' Raden...

How else did you think the "Wild Turkey Thanks Giving CT Mojo" came to life...:D

I was also bored and tried my hand at putting a D Guard on the mistress I got from you awhile back. Tell me what you think as this is my first attempt at this type of thing.
