So I decided to try my hand at convexing and polishing the edge of my Izzy. It turned out pretty well and is super sharp. It's not a super defined convex, but not a traditional V grind by any means.

I used successive grits from 600 to 3200 of wet/dry sand paper on a mouse pad. When I was at the 3200 grit, it had a pretty decent polish, but I finished it up on a piece of cardboard loaded with some Metall racing polish. It took me all of about 15 mins from start to finish.

Yeah about every 400. I used 600, 1000, 1500, 2400, 3200 then to the loaded cardboard.
