I had 8 or 9 stag and elk 112's laying out opened on my briefcase this afternoon when my granddaughter found then.. Oh Nana was a little tiffed that I had sent her in to get one as she thinks it's a little dangerous for her to handle them as she[Dallas Sierra-Lynn Doddlebug Lammy] is only 5..but I have been helping and teaching her the right and safe way to carry and look at a knife so she won't drop it or cut herself.Dallas looked up at KathyJo and said "It's Ok Nanna, me and Pap are Bucking around". The way she said it so seriously I cracked up,it was the funniest thing I've heard in weeks! The term caught on at my house a few years back when me and my brother Dave would talk on the phone while we were looking at E;bay and talking about knives that were listed..Me and Armand do it every once in a while too. I've really learned a lot just looking at listings besides all the little pearls of wisdom and knowledge you can pick up talking to another collector..I remember calling Larry Oden back in 2008 about some 112's on his list and that I wish I had took notes on all the colores of micarta that Buck has used..So many folk's in the BCCI have, or rather ARE, a vast store house of information on Buck and its products...Just take a look at any old threads:cool: 3,4,7or 8 years ago and you will see what I mean This is such a FINE,FINE, place to ah' Buckaround!

Hi Clint,

Thanks for your "Buck-in-around" thread! Your granddaughter's comments to KathyJo made me howl with laughter, "Kids say the darndest things"....LOL. Love it.
