It was going to be beautiful too.
Large 21 with Bocote wood inlays and gold thumb stud.
I've already started putting money aside so I could pay cash for it, $485 is all I need.

Then Kershaw meets with Blade HQ at SHOT 2013 and makes a video showcasing their new offerings for this year:mad:

Now all my cash is going towards 3 new ZT models as well as a few others:D

Curses!!! foiled again....
 
I was kinda in the same boat. A new Sebenza, my first, for my 40th birthday. And now along comes the 0801..
I'll still get that first custom, it'll just have to wait a while.
 
I love the new offerings that ZT has this year. I've never had or handled a ZT, but my New Year's resolution is to finally purchase one. I just got to keep setting aside money, and hope I don't get too attached to some of the Kershaw knives. A ZT will be my most expensive I've ever purchased.
 
I recently picked up a small 21 off the exchange. Although it is an amazing knife it rides in my casual clothes as a backup to my 0560, haven't found anything yet that can kick that out of my pocket. So you will not be alone in uncontrollably buying up the new models :)
 
The Sebbies are alright but the Umnumzaan is where its at...

I had a large Insingo, but let it go. It was a beautiful knife, but the price, combined with CRK's "no flip" policy made me never want to carry it. Traded it for a Strider SnG and haven't looked back. I swear you can't even look at that thing without wanting to stab through a car hood. The F&F of CRKs is second to none, but I prefer a folder that inspires confidence regardless of what task I throw at it. Enter ZT and Strider. :thumbup:
 
Yup. If I were to ever buy one, I would probably trade it off because its too dang pretty.

Closest I ever came is an Alias 1. I traded it the same day I bought it.

I really want one just to see what all the hype is about, and would probably get rid of it soon after.

I've only been collecting about a year and only pay cash to avoid really stupid buys. For the money I am perfectly content with ZT / Kershaw.
I am trying to play catch up with some of their older models and now they hit me with some great new stuff.

If I'd stop being nice and letting my buddies buy them from me lol Got 2 DLC and 1 SW at the moment now
