Well, I finally made it to Wauseon. For years I told myself to make the pilgrimage to the birthplace of INFI
I'm working in Fulton County, Ohio for a week or so and I couldn't pass up the opportunity, being so close and all

Fulton County is Flat, and I mean that with a capital F.

Getting closer :D

Made it! Here's where the magic happens

I didn't see anyone outside so I didn't stop to say hi but I waved and smiled to myself :victorious:

I also found myself in Lyons, Ohio and anyone who diligently follows the tracking info from USPS knows that city.
Here is where the packages originate to then be sent to all the good little boys and girls all over the world. It's like the North Pole of Ohio and Jerry is like Santa :02.47-tranquillity:

I was all excited, and the PO pic is cool but umm... the magic happens in a gravel parking lot? That could be anywhere... not even a shot of the Busse compound sign or is it really that top secret? :(

I don't know. As far as I know, Jerry has never posted pics of the entire compound and I'm not going to be the first. I cropped the pic myself so I didn't' accidentally show something that Jerry doesn't want public. It's very nondescript and you would never know what is there if you didn't see Garth's Hummer out front. I did see the rifle range outback also

I would've called the shop and told them I'm outside if anyone wanted to grab lunch

I was in a hurry today. Possibly next week if I have more time.

Wait a minute, i didn't see Pokey's new car out there... whatsup with that?

I didn't see Pokey's new car either. I was looking for it also, maybe she was on vacation or making a delivery to the PO with some knives :D

Cool photos, thanks.

I know there's a no peek-a-boo inside (aside from the infamous wall photos) theme. And I do like these photos.

If "they" officially want to post pictures, that's awesome. If they want to keep it on the DL, that's equally  by me.

It turns out that if you plug the Shop address into Google Maps, the imagery that they show is from 2006, even though Google Earth has more recent data. You can get a better aerial pic from Bing. You can't exactly make out the cars, but there are about a dozen in the lot. Busse must be making a fair number of knives to employ 10 - 12 folk. It seems to me that the knives they sell at retail must be the smaller (but more profitable?) part of the business. The volume must be on their military side. They wouldn't need 4 CNC machines to make 35 Scrapper 911s for Knob Creek twice a year.

Seems like Roenman (sp?) was there once and Jerry/Amy-0 went out to lunch with him. No shop tour (can't risk the precedent) nor pics of anything but lunch. They certainly sounded hospitable.

I have seen that white metal side of the building in lots of pics over the years :)

Figure I'd do a quick search for pics of the compound and these are what I've found. These have all been posted on the forums so I'm not posting anything not already out there if you have google...errr.... hog-fu

Anyways, that's all I could come up with for now. And Boring, they have a closed shop policy so nothing to buy and can't get in to see :)
