Told never to hit a lady.

Well, luckily, this MISTRESS AIN'T NO LADY!

So, I beat the hell out of her. I had a pretty crappy couple days, but got my battle mistress...
We've had COLD and snow and ice for the past few days. I ripped through frozen hard wood for a little while...much to the amazement of kacey the wonder dog (see pic). I already did a little damage to the blade finish.
Clearing some ice from under the fence, I rolled the edge a touch (I hit the driveway with a full arm swing). Touched it up with a quick one-two with a medium ceramic, and went out and hit some more wood.
I LOVE INFI!!!!!!!!!!! I love the fact that this is a USER, and I will not let myself ever think of her as anything else.

Thanks on both counts.

Aussie Shep/Beagle mix

All the energy of the Aussie and the trainability of a Beagle. For those not familiar, the first part is good when hiking or when she has a "job" to do, bad when sleeping (or trying to relax in any way). The second part is well, not too good.

Thanks all.
She's got the legs of the Aussie, the ears and face of the beagle. Body of the Aussie, but coat of the beagle.
SHe is painfully fast, but follows her nose to a fault...still not under voice-command well enough to be off leash unless we are far enough out that we won't likely run into other people. Also, when we are in real wilderness, she can tell, and stays close to me.

Nope...the dogbowl is safe! She always looks either nervous or guilty. It has taken me a while to get used to her expressions...they usually don't mean anything except "play with me," "feed me" or "get up already."

Our current family dog, a little Cairn Terrier, always looks like he's about to get into mischief.

And he is!

GREAT PICS!!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!!!! I am so glad that you got "THE MISTRESS"

No, Amy, THANK YOU!!!!! You guys are the reason this wonderful addiction is possible.
This is one incredible blade. I know they all know what a bang-up job they do, but pass on my many thanks to the whole crew.
Looking forward to giving her some more character marks this weekend.

I can't help it. To all the folks who commented on the dog...here's another picture of her.

And here's one as a tiny 9 or 10-week old puppy, during her FIRST snow, about a year and two months ago, behing our old house.
