First post, so if I'm doing anything wrong. Admins please let me know.

Recently handed down a collection of knives. I do not have any background in knives but know there are some cool ones in here. And lots. I would like to know info on the ones I'm having a hard time finding. they were well taken care of and I wanna continue that by organizing a bit more. And just want to know what's all here. None will be for sale please don't ask.

Whatever kind of device you have? There may be an app for that. Look for a picture/file sharing host. Prefreably one that is NOT porn related. You can use imgur.com, flickr, or any others. There are tutorials online on the "How To" part, search for it. In the mean time, searching here for threads on the subject is also a good idea. It's not a new question by any means.

Thank you. I did go ahead and try and get a gold membership. But for some reason it says my card is declining. But whatever this is becoming too much of a hassle.
I thought it'd be kind of fun. sucks 'cause a couple of the knives, I know I have are very rare and I'd love to show them.
And I can't stand dealing with the host sharing and all that stuff. Just too many extra steps. I've got over a thousand knives here and figure out.
 
You may wish to check out knife purveyors who specialize in valuing collections and selling on behalf of the owners...assuming the knives are worth listing.

Sorry you didn't find this site worth the extra effort, but I will grant you that it is a large commitment to photograph and obtain information on a collection as large as you have made it out to be.
