Hi all,
I just got two Canoes in the mail today. A Case Autom bone. And a Queen City Crimson Bone. I was carrying the Queen, it is a beauty, and all of a sudden, I could not find it. I tore the house apart as best as I could. I finally found it under my recliner. It must have fallen out of my pocket. I was sick with the thought of loosing it. I know now how others have felt that lost a knife. I hope I don't go through it again.

If I am up to it after therapy tomorrow, I will try and take pictures of them to post.

Glad you found your knife.. I sure know the feeling when you loose one, but mines gone for good I'm sure...

At least you found it...I've lost TWO knives this week!

A tiny Böker Gent's lockback in thick stag which I evidently did NOT get into the jacket pocket and a Bark River PSK in a leather sheath which fell out of my pack.

I can't leave the house due to grief and anger control issues.....

Glad you found it, I lost one down the chair this week as well. That one I found, the Stag peanut I lost before christmas I fear is gone forever!

Glad it showed up.

My dad had a good one a couple of years ago. He is 82 now and in incredible shape physically and mentally. (not just my opinion, but the opinion of any one who has known him or meets him.)

Anyway I had given him a handmade pocket knife in stag and 1095. Very sweet made by an ABS J.S.

About a year after giving it to him he called saying he lost it. The man never lost a knife before (at least that I know about). He was really bent out of shape. Mom said he pretty much tore the house up looking for it.

Flash forward about a year or so. I think they were going someplace kinda formal. Dad pulls a good pair of shoes out of the closet and stubs his toe on something. The knife.
He figured he left the knife in his pants pocket when he changed after church and it fell into that shoe waiting there for him until he decided to get dressed up. ;)

That stinks. I hope some wahy they turn up.

Ah, I can imagine. The other day my queen city crimson canoe fell out of my shirt pocket onto tile flooring when I was bending over. Just that fall and the "clank" made me a little sick since it is my new baby.

I have only lost one knife in my life, a Victorinox camper. That was about five years ago and about twenty SAKs later I'm STILL ticked off about losing it.

Loosing a good knife is like loosing a good friend.

My knives from childhood (eight or nine of them) were stolen from my uncle's garage. I was literally sick to my stomach when I found out. All had sentimental value.

thx - cpr
