I was worried this might happen...

I just got my first badger, a new snakeskin one and I think it might just be too beautiful to use. Darn it. Luckily I planned ahead for this contingency and have a blue/black one on its way. The shape and feel of this knife is just fantastic too. Seems like a great all-rounder.

Why deprive yourself?

Go out and use that snakeskin beauty.

If you don't deserve the best one, then who does?

Here's one of my Snakeskin BATACs:

This being my first Busse with a factory edge I thought I'd give my impression. While I generally think that someone complaining about how sharp a knife is when it comes from the factory is similar to someone complaining that their new car only had a quarter tank of gas in it, I will say that the edge on the badger was somewhere between good to excellent. But what is way more important to me is accurate, even factory bevels and for this I give Busse an A+. 10 minutes with some medium and fine ceramic and this baby is scary sharp.
