I was worried this would happen...

Being lucky enough to have a job that requires me to use my hands and a knife has always been a part of that. Because it is a tool over the years I have acquired quite a few and as many of you all know, made a few too.

I got my 110 auto in the mail and yesterday opened the box about 0800. I pulled my custom 110 I was wearing out and put the new auto in the sheath. Fit was still perfect. Over the course of the day I found it soooo handy to not have to use 2 hands to open the knife when needed. Last night I was doing some leather sewing and again, it was just too useful. My only real problem with the knife is not deploying it in front of the students. Although I've always carried a 110 at school I'm afraid an auto deploying in class might push the envelope a little too far.

The sad part is, I may never carry all those nice knives again. Bummer...

Pete, I understand, I have the 898 Impact auto. I have had it for about a year and it has been carried and used over the course of that time. The only time I have used another knife it was a fixed blade when processing game. Preston

I love autos have many from over the years. I'm lucky I can carry and use them in my state.

give it time you'll go back to your two handed knives. I do more than I carrry a switchblade.

I’ve been debating on picking one up. They look pretty handy. My only problem is deciding between the 110 and 112.. so.. it’ll ultimately have to be both :D

Like you Preston, game work will always be done with a fixed blade, mostly a 118, but my S30V OS small game is a fine knife too.
