Hello everyone. Fairly new to the spyderco forum and this is my first post. My first Spyderco was a Delica FRN purchased in 1996. Still have it and use it alot. Recently I started looking at getting a few more knives. Bought a SOG PE14 and a Benchmade Griptillian and returned them both. Not that they are bad knives, I realized that I was totally happy with Spyderco and wanted another. So I bought a Calypso Jr. Like this knife alot too. But I wanted more. So I called New Graham and ordered a Paramilitary PE, Dragonfly SS PE, and a Dragonfly FRN SE. And I still want more. Does it ever end? Sorry to ramble, but I just wanted to say I'm really impressed with the company and also with this forum and the people on it. Thanks for all the helpful info. I'm looking forward to my next additions.(Delica SS PE, Delica PE black blade, and maybe a Lum Chinese Folder or Persian). Any thoughts on the Persian and the Lum Chinese would be appreciated. Take care and thanks again.

I'm also fairly new in this forum and am suprissed by the volume of positive things i read about Spyderco and Mr Glesser. They seem to be able to keep the customer first although they are considered a big player in the knife industry now. This is not always the case with other firms. So this will only confirm me in the trust i have in Spyderco. I now have a Delica, a Renegade, a SPOT and a Karambit and cricket on the way. The cricket is for my wife. Although not suprissed by my love for edged weapons it will be her first knife. I hope she likes it and if she doesn't i'll be gladly to include her knife in my collection :D

Welcome.

I have owned a Lum Chinese. Great knife overall. It cuts very well due to the flat ground blade, and the lockup is flawless. The green handles where very pretty, and I found the fit and finish to be almost perfect. (The paint on the handles had some just crooked lines. Other then that it was flawless.) My only complaint about the knife was that I found it not very well suited to my hand. It never felt as comfortable as some other Spydies, but other than that its a GREAT knife.
