I am always buying new knives, but this week I think I went a little over board. I ended last week with a custom order from Michael Morris (friction folder), then I saw a sak pioneer in black alox, and lastly somebody posted something about opinels so now a no.8 with polished blade bubinga wood handle and classic leather sheath with sharpening steel is on the way. I need to stay off this forum or I need a second job. Lol

Be sure to post pictures of them when you get them. Good choices all.

Looking forward to taking pictures, gotta get my phone replaced first. I have a Droid X on the way. I've had to replace my blackberry tour 5 times in less than a year...not happy!

Congrats! Michael Morris is a stand up guy. I have one of his fixed blades and the F & F is outstanding on everything he does.

Looking forward to pics as well.

Looks like just another knife spree for me. I honestly should quit buying blades too

I blame the Morris on you personally Jampa. lol, I ordered mine right after I saw yours. Actually I really have to thank you for posting those pics I had no idea Michael was making folders. It just came in this afternoon and I love it.

On a side note I am really looking forward to carrying the opinel, never had one before and I am on a kind of French knife kick right now. The sheath I ordered with it is good for about 3 other models so I guess I will need to buy those too!

No suprises with the Sak pioneer other than the fact that it is in BLACK ALOX!
Always bet on black baby!

Well, I guess I went crazy too. I ordered 3 Rough Riders yesterday because of the RR thread here just to see if they are as good as people are saying and today I was in the local sporting goods store and picked up  a Benchmade 15030 Bone Collector . That set me back a few coins. and pushed some of my other planned purchases back aways.

The Rough Riders should show up toward the end of next week. I'll post a picture of the RRs when they get in. The Benchmade, you'll have look in the General forum for that.

Don't worry. you don't hit "knife crazy" until you get to over 20 per week as a 'slow' week.

SVRIDER1: I am always glad to be assist :D ;)

On the side note: I get paid tomorrow so I think I get 2 Rough Rider Canoes and a RR Barlow. They cost less together than Queen Country Cousin... Though I'm making arrangements for Country Cousin too.

I promised myself not to buy knives and multitools in the month after my holiday, which ended about two weeks ago, but the postman delivered 9 packages in those weeks and I have a Gerber multitool on the way. And yes, I too regularly buy a knife after reading a review or discussion on a knife or multitool on Bladeforums. I often try to resist purchasing for a couple of hours, but the harder I resist, the bigger the feeling that I 'need' it grows.

My birthday is next week so I know I'll be ordering a few!! At least I can use my birthday as the excuse...this time.

Excuses....I've used birthday, Christmas, vacation, holloween(only with a horror theme attached to purchase), Easter, I think if I try hard enough I could come up with excuses for boxing day in Canada and Bastille day in France. It's definitely worthe the effort lol.

That reminds me it's labor day weekend.... I think another sodbuster may be in order.
You know labor=work=farm work=sodbuster= another 25 on those evil pieces of plastic in our wallets.
