The one that was banned over here well he has pic's of him cutting through a tree. It is nothing that has not been done here. But the wierd thing is he says this is what he considers an extream test :yawn: :rolleyes: . Well if that is an extream test I don't want anything to do with his product. What he calls extream is what HI and it's members call a normal days work. I have seen where HI members even Uncle Bill choped metal as a extream test :D . HI Kukri's are far better and I will not be leaving anytime soon.

Hell, one guy used an HI khukuri to cut an attacking dog in half with one swipe as it was leaping for his throat. Pretty hard to beat performance like that.
 
I do not believe it was ever the intention or goal of HI forum members to speak ill of another product. It is not now. For reasons unclear, another company attempted to define 'real' khukuris based upon a 60 year old British design. It is a valid goal to reproduce the design. Knocking all other designs not adhering to that rigid definition does make sense to this reader.

I think enough has been said about this. I'm not personally interested in a thread on this topic. This forum belongs to its members and you may express yourselves as needed. Let's be careful about what is truly productive and what can only keep a scab from healing, though.

Tweity this is bordering on a troll post itself and that's saying it kindly and it isn't wanted or needed.
As Munk has said, "I do not believe it was ever the intention or goal of HI forum members to speak ill of another product. It is not now."
Uncle Bill was the one who set this policy and we remain committed to it today and always.
This is only your fourth post and you have put yourself under suspicion.
Please think about what this forum is about before you post, take it slow and easy and maybe the suspicions will subside. Right now I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt.
 
Good responses all. I agree with the sentiments expressed. Last thing we need to stir up again.

Besides, as Bobwhite said, everyone knows that severing hot dogs is the real acid test! :D I'm going to try for some of those big polish sausages next.

After that: Salami's!!! Where else can you eat up the results of your chopping experiments? ;)

With ya there, Sat. I loved it as a kid, but something changed in my system. The more I chew it the bigger it gets. Sometimes just the taste of it and it's instant nausea. :barf:

This thread topic proves once again why I can never be a moderator on this forum. I have no patience for this sort of drivel. :grumpy:
 
I dunno; chewing watermelon is very much like reading drivel- no substance to either one and ultimately will not support life.
