I went with leather

I posted a few days ago about Kydex or leather for my SAR Warden.
I got a leather sheath and it fits like a glove but I was wondering how long I will have the problem of the dye rubbing off on the scales of the SAR?
I have wiped down the inside with an alcohol wipe and then with a rag.It helped but dye still comes off on the scales.

try some snow seal, that should help.

Do you have any idea how easy it is to find that stuff when you don't need it and, more importantly, how IMPOSSIBLE it is to find when you do need it???

Love the sheath,its one that dialton makes.Fits perfect.
I think with a little use the black will stop rubbing off and I can clean the scales and it not be a problem.It would not have shown on any other scale color.
