I will never!

I used to take apart my CS Recon 1 every so often and it wasn't so bad after a while. Could be worse, could be an axis or ball bearing lock :D

Yep! I've had it for nearly 20 years now, but man those first few times were a real biscuit.

Kinda rough on the fingers. Have done two of em and don't plan on doing it again unless some new scales come along I just can do without.

If you do it in the right order it isn't too bad. It will get easier. ;)

I've never felt the need to do one of my Spydercos.
I almost always have to refine my Colds Steels to get them Smurfy.
Cold Steels seem to be easy to rebuild .

That’s funny, I’ve gotten pretty comfortable with axis locks but haven’t dared try to take apart my Delica.

Over the years I have come to find that the easiest way (for me) is to put the entire knife together without the lockbar and then put it in last. I've done it so many times now that I don't find it to be a big deal.
