I have been going back and forth on pulling the trigger on a Bk14 and I would have loved to ask for one for Fathers' Day but when your kid is only 6, you mind as well ask her to build you a rocket ship, lol. It actually looks like I'll be taking her out for Fathers' Day to the carnival:confused: That was always a tradition for me and my sis growing up that my dad took us to this awesome festival each year on F.D. weekend which I never understood once I hit like 12. Why is he spending money on us and not the other way around?? But I guess he just wanted to be together and knew it was something we would never refuse. And of course the money I would spend on the BK14 is nearly the same amount I need to get the ride bracelet for her and I just can't do both:grumpy: Well given the way I've been debating it but not actually buying it since it first came out, at that rate I still won't have one by the time she is old enough to get me one:rolleyes: Well I'm just bored and rambling. Guess I'll go find some nice photo heavy posts to drool over until she kicks me off the computer for her daily Nick Jr./Disney fix:)

I kinda see what you're saying. But don't miss out on who she is right now. I've got 2 kids and my daughter is 13 now. At this point I wouldn't mind a bit if she were six again

Yup, this !!! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Man, my son is 6 and I'd give anything to keep him young! Cherish the time you have right now and roll with everything as it comes your way. I feel like I have a pretty flexible schedule, but still find myself passing up on opportunities to get out and play with him once in a while. Life's short, so don't focus on the stuff you could have, focus on the people you have around you.

 My friend's son is 13 right now and he would readily agree with making him six again or maybe 26 so he's not driving his dad insane with his teenage years.

I can trump all you guys.
My step-daughter is 17 going on 30 and is about to put me in the grave.

I love her to death and would do anything for her, but I do wish sometimes she didn't know everything already :D I wish I could have been around earlier to help raise her and maybe she would have an easier time with everything and not worry about growing up so fast. Enjoy your kids while you can. They do grow up faster than you can imagine. There will always be more BK14s, but your daughter is the only one.

Oh and take lots of pictures. They metamorphosis into college students almost overnight.

I have 2 girls, 7 and 12. I was just going through pictures over the weekend and realized how fast they are growing up.
Cherish them while they are young and still think you're the greatest person on earth! Once they get older, its hard to capture that time with them again.
On the up side, I found out my oldest was trying to convice my wife to buy me an assault rifle for Father's Day! Now that's my girl!!! LOL!!

My daughter is 2 and I am terrified of her growing a day older every time she does something adorable (or something bratty that is super cute only because she is young, but would just be terrible if she was old enough to know what she was doing!)

For my Fathers day she helped mommy make me a pizza for when I got home from work (I had to do a 10 hour shift on Fathers day, I manage at a BBQ restaurant and it's our busiest day of the year) but coming home to them and a hot dinner was worth it. The giant beer my baby momma had waiting for me helped too :D
