i wish there was a larger version of the 484

I'd be interested in that too, though maybe 3.25" might be the sweet spot for me. Much more than that and it really could become a pocket brick.
Really pleased with my 484-1, loving the design, particularly the thumb ramp.

agreed. not a fan of smallish single blade folders, but gave it a chance when they came out as they were still >3" and was really taken by overall design. lasted couple weeks, then put away not to be seen since.

my take is that unfortunately, like the volli, we'll probably not see another version due to fact that they're kind'a stuck somewhere in between mini & standard config and it wouldn't make much business sense to make investment to bring either model up to standard size. same were to apply more so by supersizing them, which I don't think much of market would support.

well the benchmade emissary was 3 inches first, then they came out with a 3.5 inch later so i think it could be possible

484 <> 3"... it's poor business sense to release a revised naka for mere 1/4" or 3/8".

I recently picked up a 484 and I like it a lot but a version with a 3.5" to 3.75" blade would be ideal. Maybe a 3.6" blade similar in length to the 73x Ares series.

I have 484 and 484-1, both are great for EDC but I would like to see a larger version for other tasks.

Oh I am right there with you.... I would be so all over that one. I might even buy two!!!

I'm a huge fan of this knife as it already exists, but I also agree that a slightly scaled up version would be a welcome addition. 3.5 inches would be just about perfection in my opinion.

I love the blade grind and the M390 blade steel. I got that bad boy screaming sharp. One of my favorite BMs for sure.

I think this knife hits the sweet spot right where it's at. It seems most knives produced today are 3.5". The 484-1 is a sweetheart

I certainly wouldn't suggest getting rid of the size as it exist, I'd just like an additional larger option.
