...with a G10 or carbon fiber handle!

I just traded into a Gen I Native PE, and while I love the ergonomics and blade shape, FRN just feels like plastic to me.

(Not to be down on Spyderco--Zytel and the like have always felt cheap to me, with one exception. I own a Gerber Mini A/F folder with a satin blade who's glass re-inforced nylon handle actually feels almost like G10. But I also owned a black bladed version who's handle felt like plastic--go figure!)

I'm just sayin'--if a G10 version is ever offered, I'm in for at least 2! (I love that blade shape!)

Aside from the forum knives, there was also a 1000 piece run of shell inlay G-10 Natives. 500 of them were serrated and featured a brownish colored shell insert. These are called "root beer" Natives. The other 500 were plainedged and featured a blue shell inlay.

Wow--nice! I like the looks of the blue G10. Only thing is, even if I could get my hands on one of them, I'd never want to use it due to the value!

Yes, and the BFC knives were such a pain to sell at their price mark that I doubt that Sal will ever do it again, at least not for BFC. But the BFC Blue Native is one fine little knife. It has G10 scales and a CPM440V blade with a blue enameled clip. I carried mine extensively for a couple of years and then relegated it to the drawer except for occasional outings.

You know, I don't remember the price and I cannot get the "Search" function to bring up anything at all, period. So I guess someone elase will have to help you. I know that they go for a lot more now on the very rare times that you see one for sale.
