I Wish This 105 Could Talk...

If this old faithfull companion could tell me it's tale, I wonder what it would reveal...Times spent in the woods persuing game? Times spent on the beautifull sea catching fish...cutting bait...Who's family did I help to feed? It was obviously well tended to..used gently...but still carries the little scrapes, dings, and yes...some pits from exposure to the salt air...but still none the worse for it's little traces of wear and tear. Who's hand was the first to fondle and admire it's gracefull lines, revel in the secure grip provided by it's wonderfull design and craftsmanship.

if only this 105 could talk...

Thanx for looking :)

Nice 105, The pits in the pommel might be able to come out. Other than that it's a great looking 2 liner.

Thanx... I'm leaving them in... Just used a sisal wheel to cut off the oxidization and scrapes on the guard, then buffed to shine. This one is my new woods knife :)
Something about it just feels right.

If it could talk...................................it would be saying..... "I would sure look nice with a new shedua handle to go camping with that beautiful 112 that you dressed up Mr sitflyer".

I have a few knives that I won't clean up either. I have a 119 barrel nut with leather spacers that has a few scratched on it, nothing deep. I haven't made up my mind weather th have it cleaned up. It would look close to new if I did, But it has character the way it is...

My initial plan was to use this one to practice on...but as I handled it something told me not to...yes , I did give it a little shine...but with time and use it will patina again...
