Sorry, I haven't been around much this week bugging you, but I'm rather ill at the moment. Last weekend was a magical one for me and very special. Here is a link for you to watch if you care. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmizYcRsy7E You can see and read the back of my flight helmet at the very first part of the video and then later holding up an old radio compartment door to present to the Company Commander. If you do decide to watch it....crank up the sound.

That was amazing Bookie, got me all fired up and jumping around the house. I hope you feel better man. got to go hit something lol.

My uncle was a door gunner in Vietnam, never talked about it but this video brought up some old feelings, almost thought I was feeling them emotion things.

Awesome! I bet them new razorbacks were honored to see the original razorbacks! and likewise. Must have been a heck of a get together. Get well Amigo:thumbup:

Thanks for sharing that Bookie. Love seein that Apache do low flyovers. Man that thing looks like a tank with wings. Looks like you had fun :D

That was uplifting. Glad to share the forum with someone like you, Mr. Bookie Sir.

Looks like everyone had a great time. New and Old Razorbacks together what an experience for both. I wish a couple of my old units had done this before they were deactivated. Though I don't think the pencil and paper I used in Finance has upgraded as much as those chopper have ;)

Hope whatever bug you took back to cornpatch with you gets knocked down soon and you get back to feeling better.

Showed it to a bunch of officers here yesterday and they were I believe the word is mezerimized. I can't spell it apparently but I'm pretty sure that's the word.

Several mentioned the very end where the Apache flies off and it transitions back to Vietnam scenes. Very cool and I hadn't really noticed it till they mentioned it.

Wow. 4th day in bed. Had to get up and get a shot of HI. Was going stir crazy looking at the ceiling. Whatever it is I managed to capture and hog-tie, I sure hope it doesn't get loose and grab you. Thanks for the kind words about our 50th Anny vid. Our gun team was the world's first and thus the oldest. O.K., Bawanna. Back to you. Keep'em on their toes until I return.
