To all members of the Florida Knifemaker's Association, I want to publicly say THANK YOU!!!
In particular to Mr. Lowell Bray: Thank you, sir!!!!
After purchasing a blade at the recently held Florida Knifemaker's Show, I entered a contest to win a free knife. Lo and behold, my coupon was picked, and I won a beautiful fixed blade made by Mr. Lowell Bray. It is a skinner, with a Tulipwood handle and a forged 5 1/4" blade of 52100 steel! It came with a beautiful leather pouch sheath, and arrived in today's mail; along with a certificate of authenticity and a nice letter. What a surprise!!!
I've never really won anything all my life (that's if you don't count tickets I won on a radio station 25 years ago).
I am absolutely amazed at how nice this blade is! It has a rolled convex edge, and is a beauty. Thank you one and all. I will be writing you soon.
By the way, does anyone know of Mr. Lowell Bray and his blades? Ever bought or used one? I will never sell this blade, but was curious as to it's value.
Thank you all!
