What a fun Monday morning it's going to be, Advil for the headache and eye drops for the eyes.

Hi Ankerson -

Oh I'll bet she has a few! She SHOULD only have gotten ~500 or less - but.....

If some of the people REALLY sent emails for the whole 55 minutes (like some said they did....), then she might have thousands.

All of those people are out, though!

best regards

mqqn

Well if they use Outlook she can sort them very quickly by time and cut out all the ones before 9:55.

I think Jerry buys the beer in a bargain for his life...

Yeah Likely a lifetime supply of Coors Light. :D

Yeah it's would be like this......

Back that truck up right here... No not there, I said here!!! Now where is that pallet jack :D

I think people should e-mail her to see who won & how she is doing :)

Hi Ankerson -

Yes, but then how would she know which one's to disqualify for sending before 9:55 if she deletes them all? She'll have to sort them by sender - then delete any senders that had one BEFORE 09:54:59

best regards -

In the past only the e-mails sent before the go are disqualified not the individual sending them. So if you sent another one at the "go" or at 55 after you may still be in.

I noted this in another thread, but this would seem to encourage spamming Busse Combat with email, which is a) easy to do and b) exactly what they want to avoid. It's not spelled out in black and white in the rules, but I would not be surprised if, to prevent script-based email blasting, the person that jumped the gun is completely DQ'd.

You're right that it's not spelled out. In the past when you were trying to spend your own money they were quite forgiving. I could see this one being a big nightmare for Busse. It was a blast from my perspective! Win or lose!

You can send the same email more than once but you can NOT change your prize.

We will ONLY accept emails that are time stamped within 30 minutes of the “GO” thread being posted.

The rules as stated could be interpreted to say that if there was a Go Go Go thread than emails upto 30 minutes prior to it would be accepted. The 'can send the same email more than once' could be taken as giving freedom to spam. It would be unfortunate if people really did this as Jerry and company were being rather nice and the spamming is likely to be very annoying and create more work for them than they would otherwise have when generously giving away nice things.

. . . If the automatic "GO" is used then ALL EMAILS MARKED 9:54 pm or earlier will be put at the end of the line!!!!.

If I am interpreting this statement correctly the only penalty for early spams is that those emails will be bumped to the end but all on time emails have no penalty. I hope no one actually did spam as it could very well be the end of free contests for the future.

+1 to that. I feel bad enough for Amy having to wade through all the emails - if many people got the idea to send hundreds of emails as fast as they could, that poor woman is going to be in a loony bin before the end of this week.

Not that the Busse shop isn't a loony bin.... :;)

I think the spammers will get the boot. For one they are annoying. Two they could set up a script and not even paying attention.

It would be fun if they sorted the emails by name and deleted everyone with more than two or three listings.

I sent a single round of 3 emails (one email technically with the CC and BCC to the other two email addys) when the Go time hit and that was it.

I do hope that they look at senders and if someone spammed or sent a large volley of emails they bump them back to the end of the line. If you were paying for the items in the ganza I can understand doing the mass e-mail thing...but seeing as this was a holiday free ganza one set of emails from everyone should be way to go. Now a accidental double send is understandable, but 5+ in a short span I don't think that should be allowed to fly.

I won't tell them what I think should be allowed or not allowed to fly - it's a free contest and they can do the rules however they want.

I just hope Amy doesn't have to deal with too much spam from people who thought that was the best way to win. There won't be enough Coors Light in the whole state to get her through this week...
