Your spot on about the Emerson's Matt. I've got a 7 right now and the liner lock is touching the bad side. It's actually pushing so hard on the blade that when it's closed the blade is touching the inside of the frame/liner when it's closed. It's just sat in a drawer and has been waved some, I don't know how it got this way but I did buy it second hand but it looked like new.
I need to send it in for repair but haven't yet. You need to start designing folders with a wave style to them for self defense. If you could come up with something different than an emerson hook maybe. You would probably have trouble keeping up with demand. The only way to get a better Emerson is to get a custom I guess, and that's quite costly on the second hand market. Nice video keep up the good work and have a great day.

I like Emerson designs, especially the Commander, and have had a couple. However, I just HATE liner locks and always end up parting ways with a liner-locking knife. I'm encouraged by Emerson's ZT collaborations, though, and am holding out hope that they'll do a Ti Commander with ZT. That would be an amazing knife...

Why not buy an assisted knife instead of wave? You just draw and engage with one finger and don't have to modify grip as much

Were"all" made by ZT and had their warranty/CS.

Agree with you CM and have had same problems.

Every single Emerson have had, had issues right away or soon after using. Things that can't be fixed yourself without voiding their warranty or having to send in/pay them to fix. Done with them.

Never liked assisted opening. If I like the design of an assisted knife (ZT0300) enough, I'll remove the spring and drill a detent hole.
