I would like some changes in Texas.

Sirs,

The Texas legislature meets again next year.

Two changes I would like to see in the penal code are: (1) definitions for daggers, dirks, bowie knives and such, and (2) allowing adult citizens, who do not have criminal records to carry switchblade knives of patterns not made illegal by the ban on carrying daggers, dirks, or bowie knives.

For years my local representatives have ignored me. Other representatives ignore me, but I don't live in their districts.

Perhaps more voices would help.

Knife Rights has being doing tons of work over the past few years to get more and more knife restrictions lifted. In AZ now if you're over 21 you can carry any knife you want, no matter the size, pattern, or opening mechanism. SC passed a similar law, and there are probably a few more I'm forgetting at the moment. Point is, I would join and support Knife Rights, and work with them towards this goal.
