I would like to announce a knife for the Italian Special Forces Units. At BLADE last year we started working with Fox Cutlery from Italy. Now, I didn't design the knife. The design actually came directly from their SF Command. They specifically requested the wave feature on the knife. Fox contacted me to license the wave and "viola", the Italian Special Forces Knife, (I don't know the actual name yet). This knife wil eventually be issued to all units under their Special Operations Command structure, like our SOCOM.

There will be a couple of variations of blade styles and a mini version available. The prototypes were at the SHOT Show.

The military will get theirs first and then they will be available to the G.P. Check one out when you get the chance.

The guys at Fox seem like pretty good guys. They're not on their website yet.

I'm not crazy about that knife, the G-10 texturing is way too busy for me.
I do like the blade shape but can't abide serations and I see a glass breaker pommel that im not big on either.
I like the over all shape and I presume the steel will be N690 so thats a good thing too.
It would defo. be a good one for the collection.

I didnt realise the Italian AFs were using Fox to make their knives now,
I wonder what happened with Extrema Ratio ?
 
I'm not a fan of serrations but it looks pretty good. It reminds me of the SIGTac Pterodactyl. Hopefully it won't have the outrageous pricetag that knife started out with before it went on clearance.
