...to produce a larger version of the Cook's Knife.

It's an awesome knife and everything else in my kitchen is collecting dust since I received mine.

If not, no big deal but I feel like it needs a bigger sibling.

I'll sign up.

I have absolutely no interest in the cooks knife. I've never been able to figure out what need there is for kitchen knives of that size.

A bigger one might be useful though. Maybe even two larger sizes. Say an 8" and a 10".

I'm the opposite, I find the Cooks Knife a bit too long. I have most of the kitchen knives Spyderco has offered over the years. They're all I use in my kitchen, but the one I use 95% of the time has a 4" blade. The only large one I use with any regularity is the Santoku. I purchased the Cook's Knife, but I've been spoiled by the Kitchen Sharps series. Compared to the K04 Large Utility, I find the Cooks Knife blade thicker and its handle slippery and less comfortable to hold.

I just wish there was some way Spyderco could get the folks in Japan who make the Kitchen Sharps for them to make a "high end" version with full tang blades and nicer scale material, but with exactly the same steel, thicknesses and handle shape as the originals.

This illustrates my point exactly. The two most used knives in my kitchen are chefs knives measuring 8-12 inches and paring knives that hover around 3-4 inches. I just don't have a need for something in the middle.

If they made a 4", an 8" and a 10-12" I'd probably buy all 3.

I like the scales and ergos. Very comfortable and the blade is maneuverable for all sorts of kitchen tasks. I can take down onions and peppers in a flash and it's really easy to keep a razor edge. But it isn't big enough to do other stuff, like take down whole chickens and other bigger tasks.

Just wish there was a larger version. Fully agree with TLE- make a few options for a set. IMHO this pattern of kitchen cutlery could be competitive with Shun, et al.
