Hello.
I just received a 3 blade whitler w/ beautiful wood handles that I purchased off E-Bay. The knife appears brand new, in the box (Black Box w/ IXL & Geo Wostenholm). The knife does not have Shrade marked anywhere on it. My questions are: What was the last year this knife was made? With it in new mint condition,what would the value be. Your help is greatly appreciated,

Hi Jake,
Can you post (exactly) how the tang stamp appears on the knife itself.
This will make it a lot easier to date the knife.

Unfortunately, value may be a little more difficult for me to answer but maybe someone else can help with that.

Welcome to the forums...

I can't help you with your question, but I, too, just got a two blade piece marked "I*XL" and "Wostenholm" on the main blade and was also wondering if this is a real I*XL or a knockoff from Pakistan... or Japan, as I also saw another one similar to it, but the back of the main blade was also marked "Japan"...

Anybody out there able to help either of us?
