Got my third Grip two weeks ago and added a much sought after Rift today. Looking to add a 710 in D2 so I can leave my M2 at home. Then you can stick a fork in me as I believe I have all the bases covered, until next time right.
Frank.

I don't know, dude... seems like your Axis Stryker levels are pretty low....

I was happy at first, but they just keep biting at you.
I now look at my BM drawer, and see room for more......

Hi Frank,

I too like Rift and Grips. But when I go to the office, I carry 940. A gentleman's Rift in the office environment.

The 710's? I recognize the -3 (M4) Would that happen to be a 710-1 or the limited...w/ M390 residing next to it? .. Very nice, no matter the steel. The 710 is one of my favorites. A must in any steel, for a BM collection of any size.

Believe me it happens. At some point there's a balance between what you already have vs. what you want. Tipping point? When there's nothing to trade and buying new ones stops, or slows way down in my case. I never was able to stop and enjoy my collection during the early 'chase' days, and now I have the time. So maintenance and getting to know each of my 40+ has now become the new norm. I did buy a Volli for Christmas; but among the offerings from last year and this one the (so far) there's nothing I don't already have a variant of. So yes, I'm done for awhile also - but without any promises.

What!?
Use that M2!
It is the best!!

I bought the 710 when it was advertised as the "Knife of the year" and went for the upgrade, they offered it in two steels, out of ignorance. I carried it for years as an EDC, but it got shuffled out for a few other knives but it always got the trips that were not work related. There was a long time when I carried a Benchmade Balisong, but that ended when a couple Cops in the Diner gave me a long look. I have been carrying a Grip for a while now, but this Rift has really turned my head. I think the 710 will sit in the safe for a while, and I might just get a 710 in D2 so I can have the feel, but not mess up the M2 blade coating. Thanks for the response all, Frank.

It's the 710-1 next to the M4. Sorry about the phone pic. It's one of my smoothest BM's. I actually found the edge of the M4 easier to re-grind than the D2.
