New to the forum, but have heard a lot about it. I met a custome knife maker at ICCknives.com that showed me the shop, knives, how he made them and it was incredible to see the quality of these blades. Have seen many of the local makers knives, but the knives that Dennis Phillips is putting out are incredible. I think they were in Tac. Knives about 3 years ago. Has anyone seen his stuff? Really incredible!

Hi, it's me Severtecher. I'm not an actor , but I play one here on the forums. When I'm in the field, or just relaxing at home I use an ICC to cut up my Spam. MMMmm, never tasted sooo good. Cuts pineapple too. I'm no knife expert , but I did stay at a Holiday Inn.....well you get it.
Think I know what you are talking about. Did not mean to come across like a thunderbolt. Loved the visit with the man, and I realized what is making a great knife is like.
Up til now it has been grinding files and spare bits of "who knows what." I am getting one. Will post if I am allowed. Still do not know how this forum works. Did find a winner with the construction and materials.

Though the knives are not of a style that I like, they sure as heck do look well made.
