Hi,
today I would like to show you a knife build quite a while ago.
In November 2008, half a year after I crashed into knife making I felt like creating something unique.

The result was my knife “ICE AGE” some call it “the beast”.

Your knife is beautiful. I especially love the choice of ivory. And your sheath is quite nice too. Thanks for the pictures :)

extremely fine work, one thing i reaLLY LIKE IS THAT THE KNIFE HAS ZERO SHARP bevels or corners. the sheath is simply striking.thanks for great pics.

Very, very clean. I like the soft/smooth look as well.

I for one would certainly like to see some "making of" shots.

That looks GREAT Stefan! The sheath does too.

Thanks for posting it, and I would be interested to see more of your work. Are you a machinist?

Peter

Beautiful ivory. Very nice knife & sheath!

Kind regards,

Jos

Hi Peter,

I am not a machinist, I did have a professional training as toolmaker . . . some decades ago. For the past 36 years I did not work with metal. I was working as windsurfing instruktor for 10 year till I started paragliding in 1978 . . . still injoying flying.

I will get some more pictures from that knife tomorrow.

that is one gorgeous knife. One thing I would love to see makers of integrals do -- radius the bolster to scales at the front and rear bolsters the same as done between the blade and the front bolster. I'd think the whole flow would look beautiful as opposed to straight lines. The sheath looks great and the package is just perfect. When I first looked I noticed it was integral and then when seeing the domain name of the user, understood the integral component -- gee are not all the German hunters integral??

Thanks a bunch for the pics.

If you do another, I for one would love to see more pics. Very nice job.
