Ice Auger Sharpeners

Anyone ever use the little handheld sharpeners for sharpening an Ice Auger?

I'm tired of buying blades & these might be the answer if they work.

I have an Eskimo auger with the curved blades & just can't get the edge right by hand. Augers go dull quickly if there's sand in the ice & touchups in the field would be great.

I have sharpened a number of the blades by hand, never used the tool. When in use I would strongly recommend always having spare blades, if something goes bad then you just changet the blades, forget about sharpening them when you are fishing, do that when you are nice and warm inside after all the fish have been caught.
