I'm really excited about this one, it is coming along nicely!

We were talking embellishments earlier and here is one I have been wanting to try, "cracked ice" or textured parts! I did the outer frames and clip.

very close up... looks like candy metal flake paint in person... just nuts!

I lay my carbide thick... I lay my carbide fat... I keep 'em coming back!

your ano has really been off the hook lately. That blue is unreal.

Thanks! I recently replaced just about every part of my anodizer system and am really happy with the results.

The blade was hand rubbed to 800 grit then hit lightly on a very fine scotchbrite belt... something new that I really like. I'm doing the flats by hand to keep everything straight and can't wait to complete my disc grinder build! :D

Reminds me... I will call on my blaster parts as they have been in transit for a week now. I thought it was the snow delaying things (even the Post Office and Schools here closed Monday) but now I'm starting to wonder where it is. I really want to get the S7 one with compound grind glued up and blasting is part of the process.

I hope to have this one completed today, it is very close! :D

That is a really vibrant blue! You really have a knack for this. Seriously.

Your plunges and grind lines are flawless.

Your designs are clean and efficient.

Your etching and annodizing gets more and more creative.

How do you do this? Are you some kinda robot? Got robotic eyes and arms while in the Caribbean? Hahaha.

Chef creativity in the knife shop.

Making the knives and being a chef is a lot alike, I probably couldn't think of a job with more similarities.

You get to be creative but you better work that line all night and then you get to mop up! The food might win over customers but you need to work hard to win over your crew. :D

Thanks Rolf!
