Hi,

I just want to pass along a safety reminder to all you guys and gals who like to be out on the ice.

Be aware of carbon monoxide (CO), poisoning. Those fish house heaters are often direct vent and not always in good repair. And most of us like to be warm and comfortable while jiggin' for them 'Slabs and 'Eyes. Those ice houses can be pretty darn tight and not change out quite enough fresh air to keep CO levels down in the safe zone. Particularly when banked around with snow.

Early symptoms can be headache, nausea, dizziness, weakness, chest pains and confusion. High levels can result in loss of consciousness and death. Intoxication and sleep can get you dead before you notice it.

I'm mentioning this because the last 6 days haven't been good ones for me. Be safe, Don't want to read about anybody here.
