This weekend in Maine we had some really crappy weather. Lots of rain/freezing rain. We had planned to go ice fishing today since it was the only day that might be ok weather. The day started off ok but quickly turned back to freezing rain. Since we already had some holes drilled and the chance for some decent Brook trout we had to at least try...
We didn't take many pictures because of the weather but here are a few.
We tried jigging.

The freezing rain starting to come down we had to put one of my rain jackets on Becker.

Becker helping check the traps.

We ended up getting one each. One with a trap and one jigging. The BK-14 once again got to clean the fish.

Extreme close up!

Me trying to bait the hook with cold hands. You can see the ice building up on my jacket. By the end ice covered everything we had with us.

We earned this meal.

Thanks for viewing.
