Cool pic, and in more ways than one. :p

We had ice everywhere last night, thought about taking some night shots but didn't want to take the time to set up the tripod, let alone stand out there waiting the fifteen seconds for the shutter.
 
You under estimate your photography skills Ren, is that shot with the new SLR digital, zoom lens, macro setting? I like it.
 
Why are those needles so pale ? My Norway spruce has dark green needles.

They are pale green because like everything else in Michigan..the life is being sucked out of it...:(

actually its the time of year..if you saw the whole tree you would see that its a dark lush green...( and about 150ft. tall)
 
I just took two photos of mine and found it depended on exactly how the light hit it..When you back off it's dark green...Can't get the photo download to work . ..The two photos were taken standing in the same place yet the color is different !!! Mine must be 50-60 years old and very beautiful.
 
Great photo of the Spruce! You know what they say about idle hands...:). Oh damn, I forgot, your his trailboss. :D
