Thanks for all the great comments, guys! :)

As some have asked, this is a DC Game Warden w/ Black Canvas slabs.
I did the polishing myself. (only one side so far  ) Using different grades of sandpaper (Some rough metal sanding paper for starts, but mostly 800, 1500, and 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper) It is important that at every stage you remove all signs of the previous cut, which will not always be easily visible. So I made each cut cross it's previous one at 90 degrees, this way I can see the scratches. Then finished up with a buffing wheel and some compound. I did this all in one night. About 2 to 3 hours tops. I'll post more and better pics when I finish the other side.

If anyone else does any polishing I'd love to hear your methods and experiences! I'm kinda new to metal polishing, so I'm learning as I go. Any insights about polishing wheels and buffing/cutting compounds would be a great help!
Thanks!

Exellent job/Awesome pics!!

I've yet to polish a knife, But I did a few Motorcycle frames. And that is one pain to do!

Gunsite, Wow! Very nice job! Did you have to put it in a vice or clamped it down for the polish job? I find it diffcult to work on small knife. Thanks, Andy

You Shore got a Pretty Knife, (Wink, Wink)

My wife Shore likes Shiny Busse knives.

If I had Such a knife I would lose it just as soon as my wife saw it.

That is just how I lost the Original Game Warden to her back in 2000

Edited to change year cause I got CRD, can't remember details

This is definitely another one of those threads that every time I see it I am inspired to go deeper into the jungle err trough. That is a fantastic job, not only on the polishing, but the photography to show it off. :D
