As some have asked, this is a DC Game Warden w/ Black Canvas slabs.
I did the polishing myself. (only one side so far
) Using different grades of sandpaper (Some rough metal sanding paper for starts, but mostly 800, 1500, and 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper) It is important that at every stage you remove all signs of the previous cut, which will not always be easily visible. So I made each cut cross it's previous one at 90 degrees, this way I can see the scratches. Then finished up with a buffing wheel and some compound. I did this all in one night. About 2 to 3 hours tops. I'll post more and better pics when I finish the other side. :thumbup:



If anyone else does any polishing I'd love to hear your methods and experiences! :thumbup: I'm kinda new to metal polishing, so I'm learning as I go. Any insights about polishing wheels and buffing/cutting compounds would be a great help!
