I have an 18" Ang Khola khukuri that I purchased at least 10 years ago. Can't remember where I purchased it online but I paid some decent money for it. Curious if anyone can help me ID the maker.

It may not be an HI blade but I am fairly sure it is not a piece of junk either.

Thanks in advance.

Are there any other markings on the blade?
Near as i can figure with my limited devangari knowledge is that the script you've shown are the equivalent to the english letters "G" and "H', which is how Gurkha House used to mark their khukuri. Gurkha House was owned by Craig Gottlieb, but is now Defunct, they used to also have a forum here at BF, until the owner left it for other ventures. It is in the archives now. They are a decently serviceable khukuri made by Khukuri House , which is now KHHI (khukuri house handcraft industries).

As that would make it not an H.I. product, i'm going to have to put this in the Cantina.

That is a Ghurka House knife, I had a few in the past and the markings are identical.

Not that additional confirmation is needed, but - Yes, Ghurka House. Still have a few of them. Perfectly decent and servicable khuks, just not made with the same care nor offered with nearly the same integrity as HI.
