One of my friends get an axe , do you guys know that ?

i have some googlefu , but i get nothing on the google , plz give me clue if you know.

'Sword Axe 1916 Germany' is entirely English text and right in the middle of WWI, which certainly makes me wonder about any sort of authenticity of this thing.

i thought the same thing that the axe looks like a fake.

Not so much of a fake as a gimmick axe. Kind of like those fantasy knives you see with six hundred things pointing in six hundred different directions.

To be honest I don't know what to make of a thing like this. Is is ceremonial or decorative or can you actually sharpen it up and find it has a properly tempered steel blade? More likely is that this is an iron casting and therefore of no real use as an axe. Hopefully your buddy didn't spend a lot of money.
