I'd appreciate your help with a problem Spark.

Hi Spark, I am trying to update my profile and when I fill out all the information, I leave my email address the same because it is already saved in the appropriate space, it tells me:

"There is already a member with that email address, and the administrator has required that all users must have unique email addresses. If you already have a username and have forgotten your password, please click here."

I don't understand why this is happening. Obviously there is a member with that address, that member is me. I don't know if others are experiencing the same difficulty, or am I just retarded. It really strikes me as odd because I had no problem setting up my avatar, but it just wont let me update my profile.

Ok, apparently, somehow, somewhere, another profile was signed up with the exact same email address - the name of that profile is ChrisConnolly (registered on 2-15-01).

Is that you? Do I need to delete that profile?
