or Woodings Verona equivalent line
Unless you are particularly sold on that axe. You can find better for less money. Depending on where you are located, I would utilize different resources. CL is great, but there are alternatives. You can find a perfectly good kelly for 5 to 10 dollars most of the time at garage sales or estate sales. And in an antique store they are usually 25 to 35 if priced right. Not saying you won't see them for 50 to 60. But that is a turn off for me. There are plenty of them out there. If I was going to spend 50 it would be on something embossed that I really had the bug for. If I just needed an axe I would find one for 5 to 10 dollars and make it new again. There are enough folks on here that would be excited to share their wealth of knowledge with someone restoring an old axe. Just my two cents. I wish you the best of luck no matter what you decide. Here are more photos.![]()

Relatively newer Council Tool 4# Rail Splitter or Woodings Verona equivalent line?
It was used with the sticker intact for a while and the head cleaned, handle wiped, maybe even the head reset?
Probably not a bad tool.
Just going on outward appearances...
