Several years ago I found this axe/hatchet at a yard sale. I paid something like $5.00 for it I think. I thought is was neat because it had a flat left side as it is swung. And a chisle grind on the right. I use it for choping kindling for the shop stove. Works supper! The other day I was sipping an adult beverage ( a porter) and wondering what it was originally used/designed for. In the one photo I attemped to line up the flat side with the table saw to show the flat (nearly) side so it could be seen more clearly.
I thought of this group. If anyone can help it would help me sleep better. LOL
Thanks in advance,
Jim L.
