Hi,

I have a small fixed blade with a tin and pin that I received as a Christmas gift from my two youngest Daughters about 12 years ago. I know they most likely picked it up at Wal-Mart.

Dale, Thanks for the photos . I do remember those being offered from Wal-Mart . I thought it was in 2003 . Someone else may look it up for you . DM
 
dalee100 David is correct about it being from 2003, the paper work with my set has 2003 on it. I was looking at my set just the other day. HL
 
Hi,

I would swear that both my youngest Daughters would have been only 10yrs old or younger. So that would be at least 1999 or 2000. And mine didn't come with any papers that I remember either. But, I'm getting older and sometimes don't remember when things happened as well as I used to.:) So I won't argue about dates.

I've always known it was special run made for Wal-Mart. But the knife pattern isn't quite like a Buck, if you know what I mean. I've always wondered if they just took a pattern offered by the manufacturer and re-branded, or if Buck did design the knife.
