I just aquired this one yesterday and I'd like to know a few things about it. It has the date stamp from 1993 and "Mr. Goodwrench" on the blade. I checked the BCCI newsletters from 1994 and it isn't mentioned as a "special projects" that I could find. The scales are very dark wood and don't look like a laminate. I wonder what the wood is and if the knife (etching) was done at Bucks factory or done by some aftermarket firm.

Too bad it doesn't have the #3 on it!

Well the inlays look to be macassar ebony and since we changed to Obeeche sometime in 1994, I would say it is a standard 110 in all aspects except the blade etch. I was not able to find a reference to any projects we did in 1993 or 1994 and would guess that it was an outside job.
Hope this helps.

I have the same knife in my collection, and i can't can't find it anywhere online. im gonna guess and say it might have been made for sears, being that they sell goodwrench tools. it is cool not bein ablle to find it anwhere it just might be a rare knife

I fished one of those out of the bay and sent it to the spa and had the logo buffed off it's one of my favorite 110's.

A good find guys. It depends on how many of those were made as to how rare. If there were 1K or less it still could be. DM
