I have an old camillus i bought around 2000 at smoky mountain knife works. Kabar looking with a kydex sheath. Plain blade with no saw back.

Either ive not been a member long enough or I'm just too stupid to figure out how to upload an image. Either one is possible.

I found one with the same sheath that's a 5684mk online but it's saw back and half serrated.

Blade just says camillus ny.

From the photos, I'd say its worth at least $3.50.

Go to the "Tech Support, General Q&A, Site Feedback & More" of BladeForums. Click on the link "How do I post pictures from a....." . That will tell you how to post pictures without paying to play. Welcome to BF.

Is there a question somewhere?

The 5684mk was made for a very brief time in 2001-2002 I think. Only a hand full were made.

Use a free host site like Imgur to post pics.

These are from a Camillus catalog. Unfortunately the catalog is not dated. Could be 2002.

This knife appears right above the 5684MK

Thanks. Its definitely the 5684k with that kydex US sheath

I live a couple hours from smkw and picked it up there years ago. I knew it was 2000ish.

Any idea of a value. No box but never used. Box is probably in storage but I started going through "storage" and a lot of my boxes are not in great shape. Lol. I had some nib video games id bought along the years and they have been damp. Not wet but not Great.

Sorry, you can’t talk values unless you are a a gold member or better. True story.

Welcome aboard. If you are going to stick around, it’s worth getting at least a basic membership at $10 per year which gives you some picture posting privileges and limited private messages.

I have a bunch of knives but rarely waste brain cells on the internet. Lol. I do post on a few car forums as I'm a 30 year mechanic. I only post on there to help people out. Im afraid id have absolutely nothing to offer anyone in a knife forum.... unless anyone needs some old rusty metal off my scrap pile.

Of all the busy forums (car, gun, saw, billiards, etc) I've visited over the years this is the first with the whole pay to post or discuss things platform. Looks to me like you would have more daily traffic and therefore revenue by not having that system. Interesting though. But not for me.
