This knife has no marking on it. Does anybody know what it is? It's from Blade Santa Cruz's collection.
Also, I thought you guys might be interested to know about Blade Santa Cruz's other passion. He loved wine, got to say he had a taste for the finer things in life. To make a long story short he founded a small winery in 1995. You can try his wine if you want, knowing he put the same love and knowledge into wine that he was known for in this community.
To give a little history, he first fell in love with the Randall model 1 fighter. When he was 14 he spent all summer mowing lawns and doing other jobs to save the approx $30 a model 1 cost. Later when he was a young man living in Seattle he went to the space needle for his first wedding anniversary dinner. On a whim he decided to try a expensive bottle of french wine. He found the same beauty and grace in fine wine as fine knives.
So he started making his own wine. After 25 years of home wine making he retired from the aerospace industry and started making wine commercially. Come visit his winery web page at www.thundermountainwine.com and learn a little more about him.
