Was the Idaho stamp used on the Buck blade only available in 2005?

What's the story on the "Idaho" blade stamp?

First year in Idaho, I believe. Yes, it was used only one year.

From what I have been able to gather is that they used it to celebrate their exodus from the increasing anti-business climate of California and stamped it on all their knives produced for the first year in Idaho.

I do have a few build outs not from 2005 with the Idaho marking. Apparently the blades were made in 2005 even though the knives were assembled in another year.

actually not anti business, but the high electric prices caused by Enron, Buck has some Very Inefficient machinery!
