I love the Raj2 and I think it's an excellent knife.
It such a solid design that it can be used for many tasks including light chopping/batoning

Yesterday I was fooling around in the woods and started to think....

Wouldn't it be neet to have a large 5 inch blade tri-ad lock folder with the following features:
3v blade and sabre grind
Slight clip point or drop point to batton easier
Sharp 90 degree spine for a fero rod
Bow drill divot in handle

It would be an epic survival / bushcraft folder

i'd rather have a one piece 3v, a2, o1, whatever proven steel, hollow handle knife at an affordable price point. i like your idea as well though.

Well, it's not Cold Steel, but if that kind of knife is really something you're interested in, Schrade actually makes 3 or 4(spear point, clip point, doubled edged dagger, and maybe 1 other) one piece hollow handle knives out of 1075 steel for around $50. While Schrade has had some quality issues in the past, their recent fixed blades are actually surprisingly good, maybe that could tide you over until sometime down the line when CS makes one?

yep, i have a couple of those. 1070 i heard, but thanks for the heads up.

The advantage of the folder vs fixed blade is ease of carry
It is more likely to be in your pocket when you need it

I'd be really happy if they did the Rajah II in 3V. That knife just begs to have a stronger super steel.

^a slightly larger spartan is begging for that steel too....
