I think that a Battle Grade Short Butaniku in SR101 would be a great offering! Who's with me? :)
 
Yes! Probably the only way I can lay hands on one is if it's offered in BG. The short butaniku always looked just right.
 
Would be awesome I'm in. I just wonder if the request threads are the a reason we haven't seen certain items. folder,b13,basic kuk, and few others. Has there ever been a suggestion knife that was actually produced? Besides custom shop
 
Not that I'm against them in any way I would love to see them and would buy all of them if they were made just makes me wonder
 
Wasnt last weeks offering a Kukri?
Maybe theyre waiting towards the end, when theyre out of ideas lol than bust
out something they know people want for sure, like B13

In essence wouldn't it be a tanto blade at that point. Once it is a shortened Butaniku then looking at traditional Japanese swords it would be the tanto blade....and yes, I want two lol.

Nope, I think you're visualizing a Ruck.

The Short Butaniku has a 24" blade.

ETA - if the Butaniku is a katana, the Short Butaniki is more a wakizashi and the Ruck would be more the Tanto.

Your right, I was thinking much shorter. Still would be on my want list though lol.
 
I second the BG + LE! I would prefer the satin INFI over SR101.... But would absolutely buy oneither way.
 
Is it longer then the AK? 23 inch or so? Yes please I take 3 or more... Great idea

^--- Yep 24" blade, so 5.5" longer than an AK.
Would LOVE a Satin or B.I.G. finish!! :thumbup: :thumbup:

Definitely would buy a BG version too!
