Ideal EDC combo

My ideal EDC is currently:

Small SAK(saw & scissors)(forgot the name).

Leatherman ST on belt.

Delica or Endura depending on where I am.


How it works.....

The Delica or Endura are fast onehanded opening blades for emergencies or chores where only a sharp knife is required. Also as a self defense option.

The leatherman is for more sustained chores like repairing a fence, hanging a painting repairing something.

The small SAK for carving woodwork type stuff and personal grooming.
I actually like the small sak better than the Rucksack because of its smaller size I can comfortably put it in my pocket. Can also be used for cleaning game.

SAK Farmer
Allan Pack Pal
Victorinox Swisstool X
and if I'm going out of doors, my GB Mini

They cover all the bases nicely...

Nice combo, but don't forget to take your "altoids tin" mini-kit.

My EDC curently is Victorinox multitool and Swamp Rat Bandicoot. It ride in a kydex sheath from Okuden or in my bag if I go in some place where carry is not an option.

Original Leatherman on belt right next to a 3" fixed blade Buck and a Vic. SAK w/saw in my pocket.

I should have specified that I was just talking about knives.

My combo is for around the yard, town and short hikes. Anything more involved I include a larger fixed blade knife.

I always have my mini, a first aide kit, and a bunch of other cool stuff to make an emergency comfortable.

edited to add: my leatherman has a homemade sheath with an extra space which holds: ferro rod, 2 safety pins, a small piece of a chainsaw file and some tiny emory boards.

It seems like alot of us have similar combos. I guess after some time of doing this ya figure out what ya need.
